First, make sure that the airbed is leaking. Stretching is a natural characteristic of new vinyl and the first few times you use the mattress. Some stretching will occur suggesting that the mattress is losing air. It is simply stretching under your body weight and this is normal for the first few uses. To check the mattress for leaks, first make sure the valves are secure, replace it if necessary. You can also put liquid soap and water in a squirt bottle and spray on seams. If there is a leak it will bubble. (Laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent will not work; they do not have the “bubbling” effect) After you find the leak, clean and dry the leaking area, remove the flocking with fine sand paper or an emery board, then apply the repair patch that comes with your airbed.. If the leak is located in the seam it cannot be repaired.
If the built-in pump interface panel doesn’t work, can I use a separate air pump to inflate the airbed?
Yes, you can use a separate manual/electric air pump for inflation and deflation through the 2-in-1 valve. For pump model AP619A/620A/640R, turn the control dial clockwise/right until arrow points to the inflation mark. Insert the nozzle to the dial opening and turn the control dial counterclockwise/left when inflation is completed. For pump model AP619PC/619PC-J/620PC, open the line cord compartment cover and use expose the 2-in-1 valve inside. Inflate the bed through the valve.

Can I use normal sheets for my airbed?
Yes, normal sheets will work on your airbed. It is best if you make sure that the pocket on your sheets are the correct depth of the airbed.
Why does my bed have a hole at the corner on top of the bed?
For some Air-Flow beds, a self-inflating and deflating hole at the corner on top of the bed is specially designed (Refer to the picture). Air will flow into the network of inter-connected air pockets when nobody is on and it will come out through the hole when you are lying on the bed. By allowing air to flow into and out of the air pockets smoothly and gradually across the sleeping surface, it provides more comfort and stability.

Since my airbed has flocking, how can I use the repair patch – it won’t adhere to the flocking?
The repair patch is designed for vinyl surfaces only. However, fine sandpaper, or an emery board can be used to gently rub away the flocking. When that is complete, clean the area with nail polish removal solution so the repair patch will adhere to the bed.
Can I wash my airbed?
The air bed can be washed with mild soap and water using a sponge or soft bristled brush. Thoroughly rinse and air dry. Do not submerse airbed into the water. Water saturation may be harmful to some materials used in the making of the airbed. DO NOT wash in a washing machine. This will cause damage to the airbed and possibly the washing machine.
Why doesn’t the airbed measure out to the size stated on the box?
airbeds state the approximate inflated size; Make sure the airbed is inflated before it is measured. Make sure to incorporate the bulge on whichever side you are measuring. All sizes are approximate (+/-) which will be affected by the pressure, ambient temperature and etc. You may get a measurement different than what is stated on the packaging due to the above.
How to deflate airbed with 2-step battery inflation pump?
For manual deflation:
- Open the pump cover and turn the pump component counter clockwise to remove it from the airbed. The airbed will begin deflating naturally. Start rolling the airbed from the end opposite of the pump towards the end where the pump is located.
- Reattach the pump to the airbed and close the pump cover for storage.
For power deflation: See the attachment below for the detailed step-by-step plan of how to use the battery pump for deflating the airbed.
What are the benefits of TPU material, compared to PVC?
TPU is lighter, more durable and environmentally friendly (free of harmful chemicals, such as plasticizers and chloride).
